RALEIGH, N.C. -
According to the Wake County Clerk of Courts Office, Michelle Young’s mother has filed a wrongful death suit against Jason Young, Michelle’s husband.
Linda Lee Fisher filed the motion on Oct. 29.
Michelle Young, 29, was found dead on Nov. 3, 2006, on her bedroom floor in the spacious home she shared with her husband and then 2-year-old daughter at 5108 Birchleaf Drive, just south of Raleigh near Lake Wheeler. Her daughter was found unharmed near her body.
Jason Young, Michelle Young's husband, has said he was out of town on a business trip when the slaying occurred. No one has bee named a suspect, but sheriff's deputies say Jason Young has not cooperated fully with the case.
