Three North Carolina congressmen will usher in the holiday spirit on Sunday, Nov. 23 by collecting toys for children in need at the 11th Annual Community Cares Holiday Party.
Representatives Bob Etheridge, Brad Miller, and David Price and their families invite the community to join them at the party and bring unwrapped, educational toys for families served by Interact, Wake County's domestic violence and rape/sexual assault agency. The event is free and open to the public.

Adam Hartzell, Executive Director of Interact, said the event takes place each year "to remind our clients that the community cares about them."
The Client Holiday Bazaar provides donated toys and other holiday gifts to families who received counseling services during the year. The agency invites individuals, businesses and community groups looking for a charity to support during the holidays to donate toys and gifts for children for the Client Holiday Bazaar.
Interact is a private, nonprofit United Way agency that provides safety, support, and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence and rape/sexual assault. Interact provides two 24-hour crisis lines, group and individual counseling, specialized children's counseling, case management, court and hospital advocacy, professional training, and a full curriculum of violence prevention in the Wake County schools. Interact also operates Wake County's only confidential residential program for women and children fleeing domestic violence.
