Halle Cultural Arts Center Gives Holiday Spirit And More

APEX, N.C. -

The Halle Cultural Arts Center has decorated with the spirit of the season.

The arts center will hold its first Holiday Tree and Wreath Exhibit and Silent Auction to benefit the Western Wake Crisis Ministry in Apex.

Twelve local businesses donated trees decorated with ribbons, ornaments and some special items to bid on. The bidding starts at a reception Friday night from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the arts center. Half of all the money the businesses receive for the trees will go to the ministry.

Renee Anderson with the Halle said everybody benefits from this event.

"So basically, it's a win-win situation for everybody. The Halle gets a lot of people coming through it. The businesses get plaques near their trees and we direct the people to the businesses and the Western Wake Ministry," Anderson said.

The deadline to make a bid on the trees is Dec. 20. For more information, click here.
