When college or professional teams excel, they get nice buses and hotel rooms provided.
When a group of 10, 11 and 12-year-olds manage to make it to a national tournament, it's a little more complicated.
The Cary Chargers, a Pop Warner football team, has a huge set of games in the next week - and a huge bill for the trip.
Chris Tutwiler's game-winning 85 yard pass against Winston Salem last week put the Chargers in the national championships.
The Chargers have managed to outlast other squads all season long and this weekend, they reap the benefits.
"Going to Disney World and seeing Mickey," said middle linebacker and right guard Brendan Weinberg.
"This is my first time going to Disney World," said running back Elijah Murrane.
"I like to go to Disney World," echoed running back and cornerback Jackson Wetherby.
Weinberg finally remembered what they are really going for: "But also playing football and winning some games."
The Chargers will be in Orlando for an 8-team tournament and hope to wrap up a national championship.
"They don't know how cool it is yet," said head coach Tony Tutwiler with a laugh. "I think once they get down there and experience it, they're going to have the joy of their life."
Unfortunately, travel and accommodations for 23 players, six coaches and a team mom are a hard hit on the wallet.
So far, they've only raised about half of the $20,000 they were hoping for.
"Fundraisers, asking for donations at the workplace, local companies, standing out in front of stores selling raffle tickets," said Tutwiler.
It's a tough situation, but the team has dealt with adversity all season: they're younger and smaller than many of the other teams, but still made their way to the national stage.
