CARY, N.C. -
The Cary Town Council is expected to approve a resolution honoring N.C State women's basketball coach Kay Yow.
The measure would name the Herbert C. Young Community Center gymnasium as "Coach Kay Yow Court".
Yow has been fighting breast cancer on and off since 1987.
Despite her battles, she has an Olympic gold medal for coaching the women's basketball team in 1988 in Seoul, Korea.
She has also lead the Wolfpack to 700 wins.
