The N.C. Department of Transportation will shift all traffic on Airport Boulevard (State Road 3015) into a new pattern between N.C. 54 and McCrimmon Parkway (S.R. 1635) in Morrisville on Wednesday Dec. 17, weather permitting.

Both northbound and southbound lanes will be shifted onto the new pavement located on the east side of the project. Throughout the shift, intermittent lane closures can be expected from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and flaggers will help direct traffic.

These traffic shifts are necessary as part of the project to widen Airport Boulevard.

Motorists are reminded to stay alert, travel at non-peak times and use alternate routes, when possible.
