For the third consecutive year, Rex Healthcare's Home Services has been named to the 2008 HomeCare Elite, a compilation of the most successful Medicare-certified home health care providers in the United States.

The HomeCare Elite annual review identifies the top 25 percent of home care agencies, ranked by an analysis of performance measures in quality outcomes, quality improvement and financial performance. The 2008 HomeCare Elite is sponsored by OCS, Inc., the leading provider of healthcare informatics, and DecisionHealth, publisher of home care industry newsletter Home Health Line.

To create the HomeCare Elite list, OCS used publicly-available data, published by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The top agencies are identified from each of the 10 Medicare Regions, from each of the facility-based and free-standing categories.
