WAKE COUNTY, N.C. -
Wake County parents and students have another chance to comment about the new school reassigment plan that was released Dec. 21.
The Wake County School Board will hold a public hearing Monday, Jan. 5 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Apex High School.
The School Board released its updated reassignment draft plan with a school by school breakdown.
The updated draft removed 1,300 students from the original proposal. The new proposal still had 25,000 children changing schools over the next three years.
School officials said the reassignment plan addressed the opening of ten new schools.
