RALEIGH, N.C. -
Officials from N.C. State will ask for formal approval to study the possibility of an N.C. State campus in South Korea.
On Thursday the planning committee recommended the full Board of Governors approve having a study done on the feasibility of the idea.
N.C. State says Korea is a prime location for several reasons; including the fact that it's the third largest for international students at N.C. State, and Korea has one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
The Board of Governors meets later this morning.
