Middle Creek High School students have been collecting items for the packages since November.
The boxes are packed with toiletries, books, and other items that people in the United States have easy access to.
The project was organized by Middle Creek High School's chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
North Carolina Blue Star Mothers will send the packages overseas.
"The way wars have been fought over the years have changed over the years with technology, but the one thing that never changes in the joy a soldier feels when his name is called out at mail call, these are huge moral boosters," said Patti Elliott, North Carolina Blue Star Mothers.
Shipping for the boxes costs about $11.00.
