RALEIGH, N.C. -

Students at Saint Augustine's college will now be alerted about important messages on campus faster.

The school launched its rave alert service, which sends out notices through text messages, e-mail and recorded voice messages.

Students can register to receive the alerts which can also target students in specific residence halls and courses for certain announcements.
