The Town of Garner is working to revitalize its downtown area.
Town and community leaders along with some expert help are creating a plan to make Downtown and the surrounding neighborhood look more inviting.
The group will develop a plan, share it with the community and hopefully be able to ask the town for money to start working on projects this spring.
The goal is to bring more business into town.
"These are improvements that are made that help stimulate growth in a downtown area by making these changes then it encourages other investment either from businesses or the community itself into the area," said Christopher Walsh, Principal Landscape Architect
The next meeting is January 26th - that's when the committee will ask for input from the community.
