Rock It Learning recently participated in Durant Road Middle School's Engineering Day. 7th graders' problem solving abilities were put to the test as teams attempted to build either a beam or suspension bridge out of the materials provided. Kudos to the students! All teams were able to build some type of structure that held the 100 penny load; however, many students admitted they would NEVER cross a bridge that looked like their design. Rock It Leanring's Civil Engineering activity was but one of many engineering fields in which students participated. Thanks DRMS for providing such a great experience for their 7th graders!
