Heritage Middle School, Wake Forest, NC, hosted a Career Fair for the 8th grade students on Friday, April 3, 2009. There were 12 guest speakers. Out of the 12 guest speakers, eight of them were parents of the students.
The speakers were Sidney Hinton, President of PowerSecure; Denise Buchanan of CapTrust Financial Advisors; Donna Macswain-Santos and Jocelyn Todd of Novozymes, a biofuel technology company; Renee Minella, a forensic examiner for Wake County; Laura Townsend, a Xerox Program Manager; David O'Brien, Finance Director of RTI International; Scott Reece, Vice President of Suntrust Bank; Rita Williams, Assistant Vice President of First Citizens Bank; David Jerose, a geologist at Enrisco, Inc. Environmental Services; Rachell Davis, a registered nurse at Easter Seals and our very own Bryan Peterson, a Career and Technical Education Instructor/BITE.
Our next 8th grade Career Fair for Track 4 will be Friday, April 24, 2009.
