Cary, NC—Students at Hopewell Academy presented their Academic Expo projects on Thursday, May 21st, to faculty, parents and fellow classmates. The academic expo topics were self chosen and reflected the students' interests. Pictured is seventh grader Connor McGroarty who presented on how an onion can be used much like a battery while fifth grader Austin Edge watched intensely. He demonstrated the electrical charge of an onion by hooking the onion up with a zinc and copper connection.
