FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. -
Fuquay-Varina fire crews and Wake County investigators are still on the scene of a house fire at 3728 Air Park Road in Fuquay-Varina.
The fire started just before 9 a.m. Tuesday.
An elderly woman in her 70s was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Her brother said the fire happened in the kitchen, but crews are still investigating the cause.
