WQDR - 94.7FM, will be at the Garner Chick-Fil-A, located at Timber Drive and Highway 70, on Friday, June 19, 2009 to kick off their HOMETOWN TOUR in Garner. The Q-Morning Crew, with Mike Wheless, Janie Carothers, Marty Young and Mike Raley will broadcast LIVE from 6:00 - 10:00 am. The Q-Morning Crew will continue their campaign "QDR Quarters for the Kids" which collects money for the UNC Children's Hospital.

More than 60,000 sick or injured children, from all 100 North Carolina counties come to the N.C. Children's Hospital, resulting in more than 200,000 visits annually for diagnosis and treatment. Excellent physicians, nurses and other staff in every pediatric subspecialty come together to form a multidisciplinary team, capable of dealing with virtually any childhood disease or disorder.

Garner has won first place for the past two years with their generous donations and we don't want to stop now! Please spread the word and tell your friends, family and neighbors to come out and show their Garner Pride and help support the UNC Children's Hospital.
