Items are missing from the Raleigh house of a woman found dead last week, according to warrants released Tuesday.
The warrants indicate that Raleigh police searched the house where 60-year-old Patsy Eason Barefoot was found dead in her bed last week.
The warrant states "upon initial examination of the one bedroom apartment it was readily apparent personal property of the deceased is missing from the scene. The cause of death at this time is not known."
Police searched the house and seized a bedcomfortable, fitted bed sheet, swabbings, fingerprints, pillow cases, blankets, black shoes, black panties, black tank top, red tube top, notebooks, various papers, door locks, several medication bottles and a Smirnoff ice bottle.
Neither the manner nor the cause of death has been determined.
A vehicle owned by Barefoot was not at the apartment complex when officers arrived, and the department is requesting public assistance in the effort to locate it. The vehicle is a silver 2002 Ford Focus that is similar to the car in the above photo. It bears N.C. license plate RNY-5847
