Homes have been found for two horses, but Pam Heim is still looking for a safe place for six more after she was evicted from the property where she was living.
"They don't need a lavish barn; they just need shelter," Heim said.
A Sheriff's Deputy and the son of the landlord, who didn't want to comment, came to make sure Heim was out of the home Monday.
Heim stopped paying rent in July in hopes that the landlord would fix some major problems with the house.
He agreed to allow the horses to stay for 10 more days. So Heim says she needs help now, even if it's temporary.
"I will feed them and take care of them. I will pay for their feed and hay I'll do anything if someone has a pasture," Heim said.
Morgan Lang adopted a rescue horse and was boarding him in the barn Heim rented.
"It's just a bad situation. She's doing a good thing for these horses and now she's getting kicked of the property with nowhere to go," Lang said.
But Heim said it's not only the horses that are suffering. A dozen at-risk and special needs kids care for the horses as part of a therapeutic program that now has to be put on hold.
"They don't understand with their disabilities that they can't come out and see the horses. It's hard on them and it's hard on the horses," Heim said.
Landlord Joel Williams was not at the property, but his son oversaw the eviction. Neither wanted to comment about the situation.

I find that the comments above are not only inappropriate but uncalled for. However, the program for the kids is important. And for people to take advantage of her unfortunate circumstances is spiteful and slander. These individuals are preaching "karma" and "what goes around, comes around", but your postings to this article shows your immaturity and disrespect for anothers well being. You have no business posting ill will comments about another, when you yourself can't find it in you to show some respect for the unfortunate results that have occurred, in which a theraputic program for at risk teens and abused and neglected horses has ended. A program that was working for these mentioned kids. Everyone should be able to find or have the opportunity for a theraputic program that gives them the peace that everyone deserves in their lives. This world and economy have made serenity a very difficult task to achieve, and a program as such should be available for the kids and anyone else who wishes to be a part of a much needed cause.

I think that pam as a person is very troubled she was doing a very good thing for the horses and those kids but she is a two faced back stabber and she only cares about covering herself she does not take the blame for any of her actions and she will turn on her best friend if it benefits her in any way. I hope that maybe after going through this she will look at the things shes done in the past and realize that shes hurt alot of people and has benefited nothing from it. I do hope she finds help for the horses becouse they have done nothing to hurt anyone she is the one that is being tested. I do feel bad posting this but she has hurt me very deeply and she has also done very bad things to those close to me I really feel strong about karma and I do think that its hitting her now. Do be careful about taking these horses in becouse I do know about the situation the man stated above about her trying to take the horse just be very careful about helping out.

Pam is a DOUCHEBAG in everysense of the word. My wifes girlfriend was boarding her horse there and wanted to move the horse to another facility that was closer to her house. When she showed up to take her horse Pam called the Sheriff and told them that she was stealing the horse. She had her papers proving she was the rightful owner. She had to go to court and prove ownership of her mare. She of course won. Long story short what goes around comes around. If she was more worried about paying her bills and not stealing from people she might not be homeless. Word to the wise if you decide to take a rescue horse from her be very careful not to let her get involved at your barn. You will have stole that horse from her.
