RALEIGH, N.C. -
A mother and her child, and a crate-load of puppies are doing fine after escaping their burning home Thursday.
Firefighters were called to the two-story home located at 311 Colleton Road around 12:30 p.m.
An NBC17 crew on scene said the home appears to suffered major damage inside.
Officials continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
