Clyde’s Chapel Baptist Church holds fund-raising turkey and ham shoots

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. Clydeâs Chapel Baptist Church southeast of Wendell will hold a series of turkey and ham shoots in November and early December.The dates are Nov. 13-14, Nov. 20-21, Nov. 27-28 and Dec. 4-5. The hours are 7-8:30 each night.A ladies shoot and a youth shoot are included. The cost is $5 per shot. Proceeds go to the churchâs Relay for Life team and World Changers youth mission project. Concessions will be available.For more information visit the churchâs Web site at www.clydeschapel.org, e-mail clydeschapel@bellsouth.net or call 365-6969.Clydeâs Chapel Baptist Church is located at 16657 Buffalo Road, Wendell, at the corner of Turnipseed and Buffalo roads. From Wendell take Buffalo Road south across the Johnston County line, and the church is just past Maggie Way and Turnipseed Road. From Knightdale, take Smithfield Road south across Poole Road and turn left onto Turnipseed, then cross the Johnston County line and turn right at Buffalo Road. From Clayton take Covered Bridge Road to Archer Lodge, turn left just past the Fire Department and then left again on Buffalo Road, and stay on Buffalo until it intersects with Turnipseed Road at Maggie Way.
