CARY, N.C. -
Some residents in Cary were without power early Monday morning after a substation went out.
Cary Communications said shortly after midnight they received several reports of traffic lights and homes without power.
Progress Energy advised there was a substation that went out in the Piney Plains area.
Police officers are monitoring major intersections and power is slowly being restored to the area.
