Wade Avenue Reopens After Sewer Leak

RALEIGH, N.C. -

The part of Wade Avenue closed after a sewer leak under the road has reopened for the Thursday morning commute.

Crews discovered the leak at the intersection with Canterbury Road Wednesday.

There's no word on what caused the leak.

NCDOT advises motorists to check real-time travel information online at www.ncdot.gov/traffictravel or by calling 511 to receive the same information via voice prompts. Motorists can also sign up to receive traffic alerts via Twitter by visiting www.ncdot.gov/travel/twitter/.
