The Poplar Place Management Team will work with the Orange County Animal Shelter today from 3pm—6 pm to host a pet adoption at Poplar Place Apartments in Carrboro, as part of their ongoing Resident Apprecation Week activities.

Residents of Poplar Place Apartments are invited to visit the clubhouse today to meet some pets in need of a home this holiday season. Current pet owners can also take advantage of stopping by "Yappy Hour" to pick up special treats for their pets courtesy of PetCo in Durham.

The management team is also offering a discount on pet fees to their residents if they adopt a pet during the month November.

Poplar Place also encourages non-residents of the community to stop by and meet the pets as well to learn more about how to adopt a pet in need. Poplar Place Apartments is located at 605 Jones Ferry Road in Carrboro.
