HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. -
Holly Springs Town Council decided to have their annually winter retreat in town, instead of going to another location.
This allows for council members to go home at night and saves the town the expense of paying for hotel rooms.
The past few years the council has gone to Pine Needles.
Staff will look into the possibility of having the retreat at Bass Lake or the Cultural Arts Center at the end of February.
