RALEIGH, N.C. -
Senior Citizens are getting a little extra help to pay for prescription drugs.
North Carolina Senior Tar Heel Legislators took the first step to help outside the state legislature Wednesday.
They’ve agreed to relay information to their local counties that as many as 80-thousand seniors may be eligible to receive Medicare’s Low-Income Subsidy benefits.
