The 2008 Golden Anniversary Cary Band Day was held on Saturday,November 1st in Cary, North Carolina.

The 50th Anniversary Cary Band Day hosted 2,600 students at Cary High School. Students from Virginia to South Carolina competed in an all-day marching band competition. An estimated 5,000 people attended the days events.
