Post Offices throughout North Carolina will operate on a Saturday schedule July 3 in observance of the Independence Day Holiday.
Revised hours will be posted at each Post Office. Regular mail delivery for July 3 will be unaffected by the lobby service schedule changes.
Post Offices will be closed July 4 in observance of the national holiday. Express Mail will be delivered on July 4 and regular mail delivery will resume Monday, July 6.
All collection box pick-up times will remain as indicated on collection box. Commercial customers are asked to check with their Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit for July 3 hours of operation. To obtain the phone number of a specific Post Office, customers may call 1-800-ASK-USPS.
Several Post Offices will be open to at least 3 pm Friday, July 3, including:

Customers who wish to purchase stamps and other products and services may use the Automated Postal Centers (APC), self-service kiosks available to customers 24 hours a day. The APC dispenses stamps, weighs packages and calculates postage for Express Mail, Priority Mail, and First-Class Mail and uses debit and credit cards only. Go to www.usps.com to locate an APC nearest you or call 800-ASK-USPS.
In addition, many services available at the Post Office are available online at usps.com, including stamp purchases, printing mailing labels, Click-N-Ship and carrier pickup from the home or office.
