HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. -

Federal investigators and at least two Holly Springs police officials were outside the Holly Springs home of terror suspect Anes Subasic Friday morning.

Investigators declined to say why the authorities were at the home at 248 Adefield Court, only to say the information is sealed.

"I came out this morning to take my walk. I was surprised to see a lot of police cars outside and FBI personnel," said neighbor Will Parker about the commotion going on next door.

Back in July, FBI agents investigated the home after Subasic was arrested. On Friday, agents were seen coming in and out, searching the house, cars, and the backyard.

Parker says that Subasic's elderly father was still living in the house. Parker adds that he's shocked that this type of investigation is going on in his neighborhood.

"He would come out and say Hi everyday," said Parker.

There is no word as to whether or not the man was in the house at the time of the investigation.

Subasic is one of eight men with local ties charged in terror conspiracy plot. The others charged include: Suspected ring leader Daniel Boyd, Zakariya Boyd, Hysen Sherifi, Dlyan Boyd, Ziyad Yaghi, and Mohammad Omar Aly Hassan.

The men are accused of conspiring to murder, kidnap, maim and injure people and property overseas.

In the latest indictment released Thursday, Daniel Boyd is also being charged with providing a Ruger mini 14 rifle and a .223 ammunition to a convicted felon. Click here to read the latest indictment

In a press release released Thursday, U.S. Attorney George E.B. Holding commented: "These additional charges hammer home the grim reality that today's homegrown terrorists are not limiting their violent plans to locations overseas, but instead are willing to set their sights on American citizens and American targets, right here at home."

"The events over the course of the week should serve as a reminder that there are those at home and abroad who continue to plot to cause harm to U.S. citizens. The FBI, U.S. Attorney's Office and our law enforcement and intelligence community partners will continue working tirelessly to prevent that from happening," said Owen D. Harris, Special Agent in Charge of the Charlotte Division of the FBI.

The seven men are in Virginia currently awaiting trial for charges they were planning Jihad, or Holy War, overseas. An eighth suspect, Jude Kenan Mohammad, is believed to be in Pakistan.
