A Cary couple charged with two felony counts of taking indecent liberties with minors and misdemeanor charges of contributing to the delinquency of minors will face a judge today.
A search warrant indicates that a juvenile claimed John and Shannon Morreale were provided her and a friend with marijuana and alcohol on several occasions. In addition, the juvenile said that in at least one occasion between April and July, the couple asked the friends to touch each other in a sexual manner in exchange for money.
The warrant further stated that the couple videotaped the minors while they slept and removed one of the girls' bathing suit bottoms. There was also one incident when one of the girls was videotaped in the shower.
John and Shannon Morreale are the stepfather and mother of the minor who reported the incidents.
The couple was released from jail Tuesday evening after paying a $23,000 bond each. A court appearance is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

As a matter of fact I am not out of my mind. But thanks for being concerned.(haha) Do you know what is on the tapes? No, as far as I know the police have not released the content of the tapes. Again, I say, let the police do their work, and if they are found guilty, then I am sure they will get what they deserve. But, the law does state that one is must be found guilty. When and if that happens, I do believe they should be punished. By no means did I ever mean to imply that I don't think they should be punished, I just think the law should do it not us as the public.

I agree with disgusted. Are you out of your mind Jenny? The police took 70 video tapes and camera equipment they found at the couples home. It is not "here say", they have evidence. I commend this young girl for standing up to these monsters

How could you be so stupid as to post a comment "let's not condem the parents" The police have evidence, and lots of it. There is another side of the story and that is this man has been getting away with criminal and sexual misconduct for years and it is about time he was caught!

Before we all condem the parents, maybe it would be an idea to hear the other side of the story. How is the daughter, is she a troubled teen trying to get back at her mom or step-dad? Look we have all been in the situation where are kids are mad at us and they can be very vindictive...Lets allow the courts, and investigators do their jobs before we all assume the worst of the parents. I am not saying that I accept what has or has not happened to that little girl, I am just asking that we not judge others. Lets allow the situation to work its self out and go from there. Besides why is it our business, it does not affect us so let this family get the help they need. Would you want the world to hear your dirty laundry? I am not going to think that just because the news is reporting it as true, that it is, we have all know stories that were reported wrong. So lets take a breath and see what happens. I am sure that what ever the out come the right thing will be done. I know you are all going to hate me for this commet, but we as a society are all so fast to judge others, yet we sure don't like it when others judge us so quickly.

This is absolutely horrible, these people are sick! Amen to your words, Jeff - they both look like trash and I hope they get what they deserve. On a different note, if msnbc wants to be taken seriously, they need to be careful with their words. Despite the spelling mistakes, which are just the tip of the iceberg, they just identified a juvenile sexual assault victim. Just because they didn't print her name doesn't make it any more ethical.

These people are sick. I can't beleive that someone is calling that psycho handsome. I think that you had better check yourself before you make stupid comments like that. He is a piece of trash and so is she. They both should be locked up for a long time in my opinion.

The mother looks somewhat like a man anyway. They should both spend alot of time in prison. He will get raped and she will turn into a full woman lover anyway.

The mother should be ashame of herself...Good that the girl turned them in.I cant spell well either but i think that i read it pretty well,what was your problem..

This is the most craziest thing I ever heard in my life. Instead of looking at stupid mistakes that don't even matter, you should feel remorse for the child that it happened to. This is regarding the message before me.

This article is disgracefully bad. There are numerous spelling and grammatical errors, and some of the sentences don't even make sense. If NBC-17 wants to be taken seriously as a reputable news source, then they should at least take the time to proof-read their articles before posting them.
