Local emergency groups are holding a hands-on emergency drill at the New Hope Valley Railway in Bonsal.
The drill will take place Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. During the exercise, up to 16 fire, EMS, sheriff and police units will be responding to an mock disaster situation at the Bonsal Yard.
Volunteers will be used as "victims" in the wreck. They will be treated and evacuated by the emergency personnel.
