Transportation is a crucial lever in our region’s effectiveness—directly impacting our talent attraction and retention, freight movement, overall economic vitality, and quality of life.
The Regional Transportation Alliance’s “The State of Mobility 2008” on Dec. 9, 2008, will offer a frank assessment of how we get around in the Triangle.
Alliance executive director Joe Milazzo II and Triangle Transit general manager David King will offer insights into the health of our region’s mobility and share plans to keep us in top transportation shape in the future. More than 200 business leaders, elected officials and transportation partners are expected to attend.
Tuesday’s meeting will be held from noon to 1:15 p.m. at the Embassy Suites Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle, 201 Harrison Oaks Blvd., Cary.
