RALEIGH, N.C. -
The City Parks and Recreation Department will start making upgrades to Nash Square today.
The city's replacing existing benches with iron frame ones, switching out old trash cans and adding new recycling bins.
New dog waste stations will also be added.
Some parts of the square may be closed off during construction.
