"Antiques Roadshow" is in Raleigh Saturday. It's the first time the show has come to Raleigh.
The show will be taped at the Raleigh Convention Center, 500 South Salisbury St.
The appraisal events are from 7 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 5 p.m.
More than 70 appraisers and antiques dealers will evaluate about 10,000 objects throughout the day.
The "Antiques Roadshow" crews also conducted other shoots around Raleigh, including the Museum of the Cape Fear in Fayetteville Thursday, the Vollis Simpson Whirlgig Installation in Lucama Friday. A day shoot will also take place at the North Carolina Museum of History Saturday.
The three Raleigh ROADSHOW episodes will air on UNC-TV sometime between January and May, 2010 (Broadcast schedule TBA in September 2009).
Raleigh is one of the six cities to make the show's 2009 tour list, which also includes Atlantic City, New Jersey; Madison, Wisconsin; Denver, Colorado; Phoenix, Arizona; and San Jose, California.
Admission to the show is free. Those who want to bring something for appraisal had to apply for a ticket earlier this year. Ticket recipients were selected at random from all eligible entries.
"Antiques Roadshow" is PBS's most-watched primetime series.

I have a Hunsinger Daybed dated underneath 1800's I'd like very much to know the value. I's been in use for 50 years. The curator at the Brooklyn museum said there were only 5 and mine was the best(from photos). Are you interested? If so, how does it get there. I live in Cary, about 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh.Phone: 919.462.0910
