RALEIGH, N.C. -

A. B .Combs Leadership Magnet Elementary School will be hosting its Ninth Annual Inaugural Ball on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

The event, which culminates school-wide elections and studies of government, showcases many of the student roles and responsibilities that are a part of Combs' nationally recognized leadership model.
The event will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Centennial Campus Middle School. Modeled after official presidential inaugural balls, the Combs event includes speeches, patriotic displays and social dance.

Administrative Law Judge Larry Miller will be administering the oath of office to incoming school president, Rylie Martin, while the Broughton High ROTC Color Guard will provide military honors. In keeping with inaugural protocols, tickets are required which Combs' families and friends may purchase through the school office.
