RALEIGH, N.C. -
More than 100 volunteers are needed for the 2009 Special Olympics Wake County Bowling Competitions. Events will be held on January 27 at Buffaloe Lanes Cary, January 30 and February 2 at Buffaloe Lanes South, and February 6 and February 8 at Buffaloe Lanes North.
The times for all events are 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. The events will host more than 300 athletes from 185 WCPSS classrooms throughout Wake County.
Volunteers are needed to fill positions such as lane monitor, awards, and concessions. All volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and position-specific training.
