Wake County Commissioners will hold a public hearing today about a program aimed at getting rid of foreclosed homes in an area neighborhood.
The Neighborhood Stabilization Program calls for using up to $5 million of the "housing and urban development funds" to buy foreclosed or abandoned homes.
Those homes would be resold to low and moderate income homebuyers.
The public hearing will be held during the regular commissioners meeting, which is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
