WAKE FOREST, N.C. -
People in Wake Forest now have a new place to picnic or play.
The newly renovated Taylor Street Park is opening to the public. It features a cookout area, sandbox, playground equipment and open play areas.
The project is part of the Northeast Neighborhood Plan, Wake Forest's comprehensive effort to revitalize that area of the town.
A grand reopening ceremony for Taylor Street Park is scheduled for Friday, April 3 at 4 p.m at 416 N. Taylor St, Wake Forest.
