Hispanic Chamber To Help Kick Off Census

RALEIGH, N.C. -

Hispanic business leaders from the Triangle and eastern North Carolina gather to join forces to educate, engage and encourage the Hispanic community to be counted in the 2010 Census.

The group with gather at 6 p.m. Thursday at Centro Para Familias Hispanas/The Hispanic Family Center (Catholic Charities), 2013 Raleigh Blvd., Raleigh, N.C.

Participants include: Carlos Siercke, Executive Director, N.C. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; Consuelo Kwee, Director of Centro Para Familias Hispanas; Juvencio Rocha Peralta, President, AMEXCAN; Cary de la Osa, Governors Office for Latino/Hispanic Affairs; Mike Muñoz, Vice President/General Manager, Univision 40 (WUVC-TV).
