RALEIGH, N.C. -
The Food Bank received a big gift today from the nation's largest retailer. Wal-Mart donated 11,000 cans of food to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and the cans were actually laid out like artwork. The sculpture shows the Wal-Mart slogan and the state of North Carolina. A spokesperson for the company says the canned food isn't the only way Wal-mart plans to help out during the recession. They are also adding 3000 new job in our state.
