CARY, N.C. -

Town of Cary citizens are invited to Historic Preservation Educational Workshop # 3: Integrating Historic Preservation with Overall Planning and Economic Development on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in the Cary Town Council Chambers, 316 N. Academy St.

This workshop will focus on how a preservation program would work in a community like Cary and what the benefits would be; the workshop marks the last of three educational workshops for the Town's Historic Preservation Master Plan.

Following this workshop, the Town will use community input to develop a draft of goals and objectives that will be presented at the next community meeting on June 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bond Park Community Center, 801 High House Road.
