In what appears to be a violation of Peak Fitness's recent settlement with the NC Attorney General's Office, The Peak Fitness Knightdale location closed today with no notice given to members.
After hearing rumors that the gym was closing, I went to the Peak Fitness Knightdale location on Wednesday, May 6th and specifically asked if fait of the gym. It was apparent that "upper management" had not disclosed any info to their employees (including the manager). That night, Peak Fitness emptied out the gym of all the equipment and closed shop.
According to the sign posted on the now locked Peak Fitness doors, members can now work out at Planet Fitness although some members will notability miss the lack of classes, child care and basketball courts.
