CARY, N.C. -
Students at Cary Academy saw first hand Wednesday the consequences of drunk driving.
Emergency crews showed students what would happen at a real life car crash.
Police, firefighters and EMS officials all participated in the demonstration.
"You get to see like the firemen coming in and taking off the roofs of the cars and the EMS's and the helicopters," Senior Miguel Alecio said. "It's just a little bit overwhelming."
The simulation was put on by the Students Against Drunk Driving.
