Uniquities and Moxie Kids will host a Mother-Daughter Fashion Show to benefit Nancy's Butterfly Fund on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. (refreshment social at 5:30 p.m.) at Uniquities. The fundraiser will feature 10 local mothers and children modeling fashions from Uniquities and Moxie Kids. Friends of Cary murder victim Nancy Cooper created Nancy's Butterfly Fund to provide financial assistance to individuals and families participating in Interact's services for victims of domestic violence and rape/sexual assault. The goal is to minimize the financial barriers that may prevent people from leaving violent, unsafe homes.WHAT: Mother-Daughter Fashion Show to Benefit Nancy's Butterfly Fund
Fly Salon and Luxe Apothecary have donated hair and makeup services. Refreshments will be provided by The Flying Biscuit. Uniquities and Moxie Kids will donate 10% of all sales on Tuesday, June 2nd to the fund.WHEN: Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 6:00 pm
