Do you feel better or worse about the idea of buying a GM vehicle now that the company has filed for bankruptcy protection?

A corporation is is considered an "individual" but is usually a group of individuals with egos and power hunger. With the bankrupcy court and even more interests fighting for the power of control of this vast empire, I cannot expect a result less than chaos.

The bankruptcy and restructure of the company should have happened before we gave them money the first time. Now all that previous money has been wasted and they are now starting over... why waste the initial money without a plan that would make them viable?

What I think says even more about GM and why they went bankrupt is the movie. "Who Killed the Electric Car" http://www.casttv.com/ext/o571yw

found this bit of information out on the news network. I think that it says it all for GM: Chief Executive Rick Wagoner's salary and other compensation rose 64 percent in 2007 to about $15.7 million,

I would like to see the Government kill GM completely then spend that next 50+ Billion it has slated for them on retooling GM to make Solar Panels, Wind Turbines, and a car like the "Aptera" that gets a minimum of 300MPG. Then take about 1 TRILLION from the defense over spending and spend that on bullet trains and fast and non oil burning mass transit.
