RALEIGH, N.C. -
A five-year-old boy drowned in a North Raleigh pool Monday night.
Officials were called to the 4800 block of Yadkin Drive around 6:30 p.m..
The boy was reportedly swimming but went under the water.
Witnesses noticed and pulled the boy out of the pool.
EMS Officials transported the boy to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not released the name of the boy. Foul play is not suspected. No charges have been filed.
