DURHAM, N.C. -
A backhoe tractor accidentally damaged a 4-inch gas line Friday morning causing problems at the intersection of W. Main and Fuller streets.
West Main Street was blocked off from the 600 block to a portion of the downtown loop from Morgan to Duke Streets until about 12 p.m.
Residents in the area were evacuated.
