Raleigh, N.C. - The North Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (NCPRSA) will present a professional development luncheon on "Measuring Results" on June 25 at RTI International in Research Triangle Park.
After distributing a release, pitching a story, launching a blog or uploading a video, how do you know if your efforts are successful or not? Measurement is the name of the PR game, and that's what this session will concentrate on.
Attendees will learn from the pros how to find the numbers that help validate a media project's worth. Speakers will include Ray Hornak, senior vice president, and Eva Hornak, marketing communications manager with The Catevo Group, and Rob Humphrey, social media strategist with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. They will address measuring both traditional media and the brave new world of social media.
"This informational session will help communicators get a handle on a perennial PR challenge—how to measure what we do and quantify its value," says Cindy Gardiner, Programs Committee co-chair.
