The BASF Smile Train Triathlon is this Sunday in Heritage Wake Forest.
On Sunday, June 28th we'll have a completely full race with 435 athletes swimming, biking, and running their way to success!
Did you know that...

• 100% of the registration fee is sent directly to The Smile Train to repair cleft lip and cleft palates of children in under developed and extremely poor countries.
• EVERY athlete knows WHY we are doing this race. It's not just another tri where you have no idea who benefits.
• The Smile Train is sending down one of their 42 employees (it's a big deal to get them to an event since they are so small!) to come to our race.
• Many of our 435 athletes are first-time triathletes· The race filled up 9 days before registration was supposed to close!
• A few local families who have children born with cleft-lips (and have been repaired) are coming out to support the race.
• We have an awesome group of 50 volunteers supporting the event! In addition, the Heritage Wake Forest group "The Legends" (the men) and "The Legends Auxillary" (the wives) will be volunteering on our race course

The best part is that we are raising guaranteed minimum of $17,500 from the race + an additional $3,000 in personal donations.  Our combined fundraising total to The Smile Train is likely going to exceed $20,000! They will in turn send ALL - EVERY PENNY - of our donation directly to their patient programs.  It will NOT to postage, overhead, printing, etc.
