Gov. Perdue Uses YouTube To Appeal For Education

RALEIGH, N.C. -

As state lawmakers work to agree on a state budget, Governor Bev Perdue posted a statement on YouTube.

The statement is focused on saving education jobs and other resources for the classrom. The governor acknowledged that the $4.7 billion spending gap, but says "we cannot cut the muscle out of our public schools."
